When I was in college, sitting in class I started doodling. I doodled a whole bunch of silly monsters with vacant eyes and big teeth. These monsters soon developed personalities and soon found themselves a place in my doll world. This meant that they needed physical forms so that they could interact with my dolls, instead of just being drawings on paper.
The first monster I decided to adapt was a rectangular creature with multiple legs. His name is Squargles. As you can see, his design changed a bit from the original sketch.
His final plushie form is incredibly cuddly and soft and his quirky personality shines through.
All of the monsters in my world are quite lazy and tend to be troublemakers. They live wherever they can, and do as little as possible. They also have no magic and are not exactly evil nor good, but they generally are lazy, gluttonous, prideful, lustful, envious, wrathful, and greedy. They have no family and no houses. Sometimes they work for food, most of the time they steal or just eat trash.
Squargles is no exception. He only ends up with food and board because he was trying to steal from the Larsons and Faithiera the witch caught him. They all worked out a deal where now he works for them and they feed him.
